Here at MUC we are extremely blessed to have a passionate team of youth leaders for both our junior and senior youth programs as well as over 50 adult volunteers who help to support the summer youth camps and various activities and programs that are ongoing throughout the year.
Children who know the Lord's Prayer (download PDF here) will have their names put on a sunbeam in class. We are seeing God's love shine through the children so sunbeams are most appropriate. The sunbeams are in memory of Peggy Kirkpatrick, whose Sunday School teacher referred to her students as sunbeams.
Our goal at Sunday School is to introduce our children to the Bible and God, and guide them on their life-long Christian journey. Games, crafts and role playing are used to keep things interesting. The children develop friendships and have a lot of fun while they learn.
